Dr Coleman is a Professor of Human Development and Family Studies at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. She has published more peer-reviewed articles on the mental health implications of abortion than any other researcher. She recently published in the British Journal of Psychiatry her alarming findings of a meta-analysis of 22 international studies on abortion. She concluded that 20-30% of women who had an abortion suffered from serious, prolonged negative consequences including depression, anxiety and substance abuse.

We look forward to hearing from you.
